Within thirty days of moving to St. Louis you must register your car, obtain Missouri plates, and get your Missouri driver's license.

Driver's License
A Missouri driver's license can be obtained at the Department of Revenue. Drivers must pass a written and/or a driver's test, a vision test, and a road sign test.  The license costs $10 for 18-20 and 70+ year-old residents for a three-year period, and $20 for 21-69 year-olds for a six-year period.

Register Your Vehicle
To register your vehicle you will need the title, proof on insurance, a safety inspection, and your paid personal property tax receipt (or a waiver from the collector's office).  You can register your vehicle at the Department of Revenue.
